Agenda Materials

The MBTI® Certification Program is designed to equip you with the essential information and experience you need to begin using the MBTI framework. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to purchase and administer both MBTI Step I and Step II assessments.

After you register for one of the Certification sessions, you will receive instructions via email about how you should prepare for the class. Following that, you will receive a shipment that includes some of the program materials listed below. You will complete approximately 6 hours of pre-work which includes taking two MBTI assessments online.

Your tuition includes MBTI reference materials and support tools to ensure you have the information and resources you need to immediately put your knowledge into practice after the training, including:

  • The Participant's Resource Guide, a comprehensive notebook of program materials, and Practitioner Tools (electronic download)
  • Books required for the course: MBTI® Manual, 3rd Edition; Introduction to Type®, 6th Edition; MBTI® Step II Manual; MBTI® Step II User's Guide; Understanding Your Step II Results; and the MBTI® Step I and Step II Feedback Sessions DVD
  • An MBTI® Form M Self-Scorable assessment, MBTI® Complete assessment, and MBTI® Step II assessment
  • An electronic certificate of completion

When you arrive for the first day of class, you will begin four days of intense, enjoyable, and interactive learning. During that time you will be required to pass five module exams. The daily schedule is 8:00 am—5:00 pm, and 8:00 am—4:00 pm on the last day. There is a one hour break for lunch each day.

Day Three

  • Type Dynamics
  • The Eight Dominant Functions
  • Type and Stress
  • Type Development
  • Using Type for Leadership Development
  • Exam for Learning Module Four

Day Four

  • Introduction to the Step II assessment
  • Interpreting Step II Report
  • Exam for Learning Module Five

Note: In the event you do not pass the exams, an essay retake exam will be sent to you.
