This Statement describes The Myers & Briggs Foundation's information gathering and dissemination practices for our web services https://mbtitraininginstitute.myersbriggs.org and linked pages (collectively, "the Web Site" or "our Site"). By visiting our Web Site, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Statement. (Revised May 30, 2018)


By submitting your information to us through the creation of a new account, or through an existing account, you agree to the practices described herein, and you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

The Myers & Briggs Foundation is a licensed provider of MBTI certification training for The Myers-Briggs Company, the exclusive publisher of The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® instrument.

Collection and Use of E-mail and User Information

The Myers & Briggs Foundation does not collect your personal information except when you knowingly provide such information as the result of the use of one or more of the features of this web site, such as registering for the MBTI® Certification Program.


The Myers & Briggs Foundation maintains strict security over all information you share, and uses such information to provide you with a better web site and related services. We may share aggregate demographic information (but not data specific to any individual) with other related organizations in order for them to gain a better understanding of the traffic patterns on the Web Site.


In order to deliver the MBTI® Certification Program, The Myers & Briggs Foundation will use your information to notify you of important requirements for completing the Program.

The information we collect from those who visit our website

You can access and retrieve information from our website without having to enter personal data. We collect personal data only with your knowledge and prior approval. When we collect data, it is voluntary for registration, order and survey purposes using forms, or via e-mail.

Your name, address, phone number, email address, password, and other information needed for specific purposes are obtained when you create an online account with us.


When you place an order, we store any email messages which we have sent to you. If you send us an email this email is also stored. The Myers & Briggs Foundation will not share personally identifiable information with other entities, with the exception of The Myers-Briggs Company, owners of the MBTI® Certification Program.


The Myers & Briggs Foundation engages in online advertising placements with third party providers, including but not limited to Google and Bing ads. The Myers & Briggs Foundation does not gather personally identifiable information from the "clicks" on these ads, although access to the data gathered by these third-party providers is made available to us. Information received by The Myers & Briggs Foundation from these ad placements includes aggregate data on demographics, geographic location, types of web browsers, computers, platforms, internet service providers, or any search terms entered on the referring website. This aggregate data cannot be traced to an individual.

We may use your Internet address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the Web Site.

Personal information about children is a concern for all of us. At The Myers & Briggs Foundation, we take the protection of children's privacy very seriously.
